FAMILY CONCERTS
The repertoire is designed to take the young (and young at heart) on a musical journey filled with castles, caves, rivers and games.These performances feature reserved seating and are FREE for children (16 and under) and only $10 for adults. Prior to the concert, youth can enjoy lobby activities provided by the Children's Museum of Skagit County and Kindermusik by Maura. MASTERPIECE CONCERT
Pianist Denice Dameron will accompany the orchestra on the McIntyre Hall stage performing Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 for this Masterpiece performance. Additional music repertoire includes Berlioz’s Roman Carnival and Mendelssohn’s Symphony No. 5. Maestro Shakarian will be discussing the music prior to the performance during his Conductor's Chat beginning at 6:45 pm in the McIntyre Hall Loge. SCHOOL CONCERT
Primary school children from our surrounding area will be invited to attend a symphony performance at McIntyre Hall. Program will include Mendelssohn Hebrides Overture, Mozart Symphony No. 1, Bizet Jeux d’Enfants, and Smetana The Molda.

FAMILY CONCERT
This concert is intended to enchant the symphony’s youngest audience (age 3 and up) with the wonder of live classical music. Designed with the young and the young at heart in mind, Maestro Shakarian engages the audience with insights about each piece and a surprise or two. For this special performance, the orchestra partners with the Skagit County Children’s Museum who provides hands-on music activities for children in the McIntyre Hall lobby. Program will include Mendelssohn Hebrides Overture, Mozart Symphony No. 1, Bizet Jeux d’Enfants, and Smetana The Molda.
This concert is recommended for children over 3.

YOUNG SOLOIST CONCERT
For this special concert which spotlights young and upcoming musicians, the orchestra welcomes one of their own, principal cellist, Amy Buckingham as soloist, performing DvoĆàk Cello Concerto. The night of music also includes Wagner Meistersingers Overture and Beethoven Symphony No. 8.
